Cute Daisy Nails

Here are the cute daisy nails I created today...

                                                      (I'm sorry the photo isn't very clear!)

They were very easy to do!

All you need is..

A basecoat

A clear nail varnish

White nail art pen (you can buy these from ebay)

A peach/yellow nail varnish

First thing's first, apply a basecoat to your nails and let it dry before starting your daisies

Next using a peach/yellow nail varnish, I used, Rimmel Lasting Finish Fruities Nail Polish in Apricot Punch (or any colour that you like) dot a couple of spots onto your nails, I used the tip of my white nail art pen to do this, this will be the middle of our daisy

Next go back round after giving the middle dots time to dry and then apply 5 little dots using a white nail art pen around the outside of the middle dots.

And finally finish them of with some clear nail varnish to seal them in!

And we are done!

Cheryl's big hair at shoe launch...

Cheryl dazzled the crowds with her fabulous beehive (the biggest I've seen!) for her shoe launch with Stylist Pick. The Girls Aloud star, former X Factor judge and much more, showed of this bouffant hairstyle at a party to celebrate her new collection and deserves a thumbs up! It looks gorgeous! And she gets top marks for her beautiful burgundy mini dress...



Her collection won't be out until December but I have a feeling it's going to be a huge hit, I can't wait to see it! Is there anything Cheryl can't do?

Pixie's gorgeous daisy make-up!

Pixie Lott is one of my style icon's, she is always ahead of the fashion game as well as having a beautiful clothing range with Lipsy and it looks like she has got her make-up down to a T too!
(I also love her new tousled bob, what about you?)

Re-create this look with daisy cut-out stencils or be brave and try it free hand with eyeshadow mixed with a little bit of water and a thin brush or make life a bit easier with eyeliner pencils..

My dream is to visit the real thing, I think it is one of the most wonderful cities in the world but for the moment I've got a mini version in my room and I feel like I'm there whenever I look at it...

Nail Colour Of The Week!

Now you may not know this but I am a little bit obsessed with Avon nail polishes because they come in so many gorgeous colours and shades, they are not at all sticky and last a long time and I recently added this beautiful colour to my collection!

Maybelline The Collosal Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara!

I love finding and trying out new beauty products and when I heard of this new mascara I couldn't resist buying! Whilst shopping in Superdrug yesterday after running out of my usual Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara, I found out that this new Maybelline alternative was on offer at £5.99, so I was straight to the till! Maybelline mascara's have had such a positive reviews and I knew that the new addition to the Colossal range wouldn't disappoint. The thing that first caught my eye was the unusual and interesting leopard print packaging and then the interesting shaped brush, it is made of soft bristles, it is curved so that you can reach all lashes and gives you a fanned out, feline effect and it found that it definitely did that. I found it very easy to apply once I got the hang of how to hold the brush, it reached all my lashes, it got right the roots and made them look for curved and I found it made my eyes appeared wider. There were no clumps at all and you can add as many coats as you want without it flaking and it lasts all day. As I have long lashes I'm always looking for a mascara that will curl them rather than make them appear longer as I was very impressed with how well this mascara curled them and I really enjoy using it, it is very quick. I think I prefer it to my usual Rimmel one!
